Personal Trainer
Joe Clay joined The Summit team as a personal trainer in April of 2024. He graduated from Temple University in the Spring of 2023 with a degree in Exercise and Sport Science and he is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the NSCA (National Strength and Conditioning Association). Joe’s journey as a personal trainer started during his last year of school, when he began working as a personal trainer at a local gym in Philadelphia in June of 2022. This allowed him to gain experience working with individuals of all different ages, experience levels, and injury histories. After graduating college, Joe was hired as the Head Coach at another local personal training gym. As the Head Coach, he was able to gain experience coaching and writing exercise programs for 100+ individuals with unique goals and abilities. Joe has had a passion for health and fitness for over 15 years, and credits the coaches he had as a child for helping him foster that passion. Joe’s primary goal as a coach is help his clients foster and grow their passion for health and fitness, just as his coaches did for him.
